Overview
The typical Mediterranean architecture with arches and barrel vaults in the lounges characterizes the hotel interiors. Its spectacular projection towards the sea frames the roof garden, the outside restaurant and the private beach. Pastel colour furnishings, typical of sea places: each floor shows off its specific one; refined floor tiles from Vietri ceramics. In some areas such as the restaurant there is still the original flooring of the 50s.
The Hotel Miramare e Castello can be rightfully considered one of the first accommodation facilities independently operating in the historical area of Ischia Ponte. After a 6-years-long full refurbishing the Hotel enjoyed its reopening as first-class 5-Star House in 1996.

Negative judgment: a) Al momento della prenotazione, a fronte della mia richiesta se le terme erano "interne", mi è stato risposto "Certamente. Presso l'altro blocco" (ma non mi è stato precisato che per accedere alle Terme avrei dovuto uscire su suolo pubblico). b) Nella camera (singola), nell'armadietto per vestiti e biancheria l'ospite dispone di troppo poco spazio. c) In più di un'occasione, l'ascensore era fuori-servizio.
